“Greenfeet have transformed
my garden into the most lush,
green and weed free grass
I have seen in some time.
Once you go green you will

Axis
Axis The ideal amendment for problem soils
Axis can be applied to help overcome a number of problem situations in soils.
• Increase drainage and permeability.
• Increase the oxygen holding capacity of soils.
• Help reduce compaction
• Balance air and water in the rootzone, encouraging rooting.
• Increase water and nutrient availability in sandy soils.
Axis granules contain a naturally occurring mineral containing thousands of microscopic diatoms - hard, sponge-like structures which add porosity and impart other benefits to the soil.
The product is calcined (heated to around 1800°C) to create a stable and durable particle that is resistant to breakdown.
Its internal pore structure helps overcome problems such as compaction and black layer by introducing air filled porosity (oxygen) into the rootzone. In poorly draining soils, Axis helps to increase percolation rates, moving water through the soil profile. On free draining soils with low CEC, Axis acts to retain water and nutrients to promote continued growth in adverse conditions. Once applied, Axis becomes a permanent part of the rootzone.
Use AXIS
• On compacted soils with poor oxygen content.
• Badly draining soils.
• Soils that have black layer or anaerobic conditions.
• Sandy soils that dry out too rapidly.
• Areas of high traffic and wear.
• Turf areas with poor root structure and development.
• As a surface dressing to discourage moss and algae colonization
High volume low weight
The beneficial effects of soil amendments depend on the actual amount (or volume) of product applied, rather than on the weight.
Because Axis has a low bulk density, it is extremely light. Hence, a bag of Axis contains significantly more product than the same weight of other types of amendment.
Application
Axis is best applied:
After coring / tining / verti-draining, combined with the topdressing material
or
In a ‘Drill and Fill’ operation.
