Anthony Fitzpatrick
Anthony Fitzpatrick was born on August 30th 1972. From an early age he has an interest in outdoor activities as was shown by his keen interest in Golf. To this day he has retained this interest and in fact expanded on it.
After completing his leaving cert he went on to earn his diploma in Green keeping at Killdaltin College in Co Kilkenny receiving a NCVA awarded qualification.
After achieving top results in his exams he moved into the field of green keeping immediately as now has over 20 years experience in the business most notably as course superintendent in the Slieve Russell in Co Cavan and the high profile Heritage Golf & Spa Resort in Killenard Co Laois which recently hosted the European Tours finest in the Seve Trophy. Anthony was with the Heritage from day 1 almost 8 years ago through the grow in phase and went on to produce the finest manicured course in the country. Anthony left in summer 2008 to establish Greenfeet as the countries no one lawn care and Pitchcare company with over 12 franchises in the country now in operation. The company will continue to go from strength to strength under his leadership.
He continues his close links to the golf industry and indeed the grass care industry by attending the annual GCSAA conference in America when most of the world top grass care individuals come together to discuss at length what improvements in quality can be made.
