The GARDENA Universal Hatchet 900B is a small hatchet that is ideal for timberwork tasks such as making kindling, limbing small trees, trekkiing and other outdoor activities. To ensure that every blow achieves its full power, the axe has a well-balanced centre of gravity that is close to the axe head. It ensures proper weight distribution, therefore increased striking and splitting power. Thanks to the break-proof head handle attachment you never have to hold back when striking. If you want to drive a wedge into the log to split it, the machined hammer function will help you. The hardened blade made from premium tool steel reduces frictional resistance and makes it easier to chop into the wood. The fibreglass-reinforced plastic handle with soft grip, prevents your hand from slipping and guarantees safe handling. The so-called cow’s foot (hook-shaped handle end) contributes to safety when your hand slides down up and down the shaft.
